(Pre Install) Raw Accel

Can you get banned?

No. RawAccel is designed to be anti-cheat safe. Valorant's, Faceit's and Quake Champions' anti-cheat teams have explicitly confirmed that RawAccel is allowed on respective platforms.

This image is taken from a direct chat with the engineers/developers at Riot who work on their anti-cheat. They insist that they do not ban for the interception driver or Raw Accel, and you are welcome to create a ticket through their player support system where it will be escalated to the anti-cheat team for review.

Is Raw Accel aim assist / legal aim bot?

Contrary to belief, Raw Accel is not an INSTANT aim buff that many claim. To clarify, the right settings may enhance your performance in games, but RawAccel doesn’t make you “better”, it makes you more comfortable.

All mouse acceleration does, is allows you to dynamically adjust your sensitivity based on how much you're moving your mouse, meaning you can have a low sensitivity for slow mouse movements but increase this sensitivity for larger hand motions. The rate at which the sensitivity transitions is acceleration, and this can be controlled, smooth and precise allowing for appropriate use in FPS games.

It is neither aim assist nor legal aim bot (merely clickbait). To clarify:

Raw Accel does not aim for you.

Raw Accel does not slowdown over targets.

You might feel like this effect but this is somewhat not actually the case. If you flick and miss the target, you will have this “slowdown” effect over nothing, making you have to readjust your aim again (most likely under the slowdown conditions) to make up for your missed flick.

Raw Accel functions on a global scale in Windows (the settings you apply are in effect on both the desktop and in games). The program has zero clue what a game you are playing, and much less of a clue what’s happening in it. You, as a player, still have to aim yourself.

Who is mouse accel for? Even with a high sensitivity?

Anyone and everyone can use mouse accel, however it may not be the best choice for everyone. Not everyone that uses mouse acceleration improves, and some people may find it more of an inconvenience to a static sensitivity.

Yes, you can play with mouse acceleration if you have a high sensitivity. In basic terms, you can tailor the curve so that your curve peaks at your high sensitivity, and you have a slower sensitivity for your slower hand motions.
